A Promoted Listings response tells you if all the data in a Promoted Listings feed was processed successfully or not. The following table explains the fields in the Promoted Listings feed response file.

CSV: Item ID

A unique eBay-assigned ID for a listing that is generated when the listing is created.

CSV: SKU

The product's Stock Keeping Unit. Included if a product SKU is specified in the uploaded feed.

Occurrence: Conditionally Returned

CSV: Group ID

The variation group for a set of SKUs. Included if a group ID is specified in the uploaded feed.

CSV: Channel ID

The unique identifier of the eBay marketplace where the SKU is/will be listed. Values include EBAY_US, EBAY_GB, EBAY_DE, and others. See Marketplace enumerated values for full list.

Promoted Listing Eligibility

Whether the listing is eligible to be promoted or ineligible.

CSV: Ad Rate %

The ad rate specified by the seller if the given item ID, SKU, or group ID is already included in an ad campaign. Included when the item listing is included in an ad campaign

Occurrence: Conditionally Returned

CSV: Campaign Name

The seller-defined or eBay-provided name for the ad campaign. Included if the item listing is included in an ad campaign.

Promoted Listing Action

The action (Add, Update, or Delete) specified in the uploaded Promoted Listing Feed.

Occurrence: Always Returned

CSV: Status

The value in this field indicates whether the Promoted Listing action was successfully applied to the listing:

  • SUCCESS: All or specific items added or updated in the feed are now live.
  • FAILED: All or specific items added or updated in the feed were not uploaded.

CSV: Message Type

The message type: error or warning

CSV: Message ID

The ID number of the message

The text of the message, which can include information about errors and how to correct them.
