This topic provides definitions for the fields in a Promoted Listing eligibility feed. Use this feed in one of two modes: 

  1. Submit a collection of listings, identified by SKU (and marketplace/channel), item ID, or group ID
  2. Submit a collection of categories

When you submit a feed with categories, the response includes all of the seller’s eligible listings in the category and their trending ad rate percentage. See Promoted Listings eligibility response definitions for more information about the response feed.

CSV: ItemID

Optional. A unique eBay-assigned ID for a listing that is generated when the listing is created. The Item ID field is used to see if specifics listings are eligible for Promoted Listings Standard.

Optional. The product's Stock Keeping Unit (SKU). The SKU must be unique across your entire inventory

Group ID

Optional. A Group ID value can be used to see if all variations within a multiple-variation listing are eligible for Promoted Listings Standard.

CSV:
Channel ID

Required. The unique identifier of the sales channel, such as EBAY_USEBAY_GB, or EBAY_IT, and others. See Marketplace enumerated values for full list.

CSV:
Category ID

Optional. The unique identifier of the eBay leaf category ID.

Sellers can submit a feed with only the category IDs in which they list. The response for a feed consisting of category IDs contains all the seller’s eligible listings and the trending ad rate for each.
