Classification feed response definitions

A Classification feed response file returns one, two, or three eBay leaf categories that are suitable for the products uploaded in the Classification feed input file. The following table describes all fields included in the Classification feed response file.

Note: Classification feed response files are only available in CSV format.

Field name	Description
`SKU`	The product's Stock Keeping Unit value, defined by the seller to identify the product Occurrence: Always Returned
`locale`	Indicates the language used for data in the listing. Values include `en_US`, `en_GB`, `es_ES`, `fr_FR`, and others. See Locale enumerated values for full list Occurrence: Always Returned
`Title`	The title of the product or product group Note: The title of the product group will be used for a multiple-variation listing, and the title of individual variations within that product group will not be used. Always Returned
`Selected Category ID`	The unique identifier of the eBay leaf category most suitable for each product in the Classification feed Occurrence: Always Returned
`eBay Category Path 1`	The full path (from L1 category to leaf category) of the eBay leaf category most suitable for each product in the Classification feed. An example would be Health & Beauty > Fragrances > Men's Fragrances & Aftershaves. Occurrence: Always Returned
`eBay Category ID 1`	The unique identifier of the eBay leaf category most suitable for each product in the Classification feed Occurrence: Always Returned
`Confidence 1`	This integer value indicates how confident eBay is about `eBay Category ID 1` being a suitable category for the product Occurrence: Always Returned
`eBay Category Path 2`	The full path (from L1 category to leaf category) of the eBay leaf category that is the second most suitable for each product in the Classification feed. This field will not be returned if eBay cannot determine a leaf category that is the second most suitable for the product Occurrence: Conditionally Returned
`eBay Category ID 2`	The unique identifier of the eBay leaf category that is the second most suitable for each product in the Classification feed. This field will not be returned if eBay cannot determine a leaf category that is the second most suitable for the product
`Confidence 2`	This integer value indicates how confident eBay is about `eBay Category ID 2` being a suitable category for the product. This value should always be lower than the value for `Confidence 1`. This field will not be returned if eBay cannot determine a leaf category that is the second most suitable for the product Occurrence: Conditionally Returned
`eBay Category Path 3`	The full path (from L1 category to leaf category) of the eBay leaf category that is the third most suitable for each product in the Classification feed. This field will not be returned if eBay cannot determine a leaf category that is the third most suitable for the product Occurrence: Conditionally Returned
`eBay Category ID 3`	The unique identifier of the eBay leaf category that is the second most suitable for each product in the Classification feed. This field will not be returned if eBay cannot determine a leaf category that is the third most suitable for the product Occurrence: Conditionally Returned
`Confidence 3`	Conditionally returned.This integer value indicates how confident eBay is about `eBay Category ID 2` being a suitable category for the product. This value should always be lower than the value for `Confidence 2`. This field will not be returned if eBay cannot determine a leaf category that is the third most suitable for the product Occurrence: Conditionally Returned
`Message Type`	Conditionally returned. The type of error or warning Occurrence: Conditionally Returned
`Message ID`	The unique identifier of the error or warning. This field is only returned if there was an issue determining suitable categories for a product Occurrence: Conditionally Returned
`Message`	The actual text of the error or warning. This field is only returned if there was an issue determining suitable categories for a product Occurrence: Conditionally Returned
`ePID`	The unique identifier of an eBay catalog product. This field is only returned if eBay was able to match a Global Trade Identification Number (GTIN) for a product to an eBay catalog product. GTINs include ISBN values, UPC values, and EAN values Occurrence: Conditionally Returned
`Warnings`	This field is only returned if there are any warnings associated with the eBay catalog product Occurrence: Conditionally Returned
`Errors`	This field is only returned if there are any errors associated with the eBay catalog product Occurrence: Conditionally Returned
`ProductType`	This value indicates the type of eBay catalog product. This field is only returned if MIP is able to match a product to an ePID Occurrence: Conditionally Returned
`IncludeCategoryList`	This boolean value indicates whether or not leaf category/categories defined for the eBay catalog product are used for the leaf categories called out in `eBay Category ID 1`, `eBay Category ID 2`, and `eBay Category ID 3`. This field is only returned if MIP is able to match a product to an ePID Occurrence: Conditionally Returned
